Domashny Ochag Recommends

Domashny Ochag magazine has placed its seal of quality on the cover of the Hans Christian Andersen Ole Lukøje fairy tales for children. The disk was issued by the Melodiya company and has already been released for sale.

Ole Lukøje is a kind gnome who walks silently on tiptoe so that adults won’t see him – he appears only to children. Ole Lukøje opens his picture-covered only above the heads of children who have behaved well, so that they will have entrancing dreams all night. But over the heads of those who behaved badly, he holds a black umbrella “so that they sleep heavily, and wake in the morning without having dreamed at all.”
