Holiday Menus – a new book published by Domashny Ochag in cooperation with Exmo publishers – is scheduled to be released in late November. The book is aimed at those for whom the pre-holiday fuss is not a wearisome chore, but a great opportunity to apply their creative energies in preparing various dishes and decorating the home and dinner table.
The book “Holiday Menus: Recipes from Your Favorite Magazine” is the second in the series of culinary books from Domashny Ochag. The recipes presented here are not for dishes that are divorced from real life, with difficult names and exotic ingredients, but mainly folk or classic dishes from different culinary traditions around the world. This book provides everything you need for the pleasant task of preparing for any holiday – from New Year’s or Easter to a birthday or a big spread at the dacha.
The book includes menus for traditional holidays as well as dishes for original “themed” parties – for example, cheese parties, picnics or a meal with the nearly forgotten but much-loved favorite Soviet-style gelatin dishes and mimosa salad. All of the recipes have been tested and approved by the magazine’s readers.
