Derk Sauer to continue as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sanoma Independent Media

Sanoma is pleased to announce that Derk Sauer is continuing as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sanoma Independent Media in Russia. He will also continue as Chairman of the Board of Vedomosti, the Russian business daily which is published in cooperation with the Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal.

In 1992, Derk Sauer was one of the founders of Independent Media in Moscow. Under his stewardship Sanoma Independent Media (the new company name since 2011) has grown into the leading glossy publisher in Russia.
