Popular Mechanics at Design Territory

Popular Mechanics magazine is serving as partner to Design Territory, a special project of the Winzavod Centre for Contemporary Art.

Design Territory provides beginning designers a venue to showcase their talents and gain exposure with potential clients — to make the journey from initial sketches to real-world construction of their ideas.

All submissions are reviewed by the curator and the project’s advisory council. The most interesting ideas and those showing the most potential will be chosen for display at Winzavod. The contest winners will be announced during the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

The competition is open to university students and young Russian professionals working in design and architecture. Those chosen for participation will also be invited to attend educational and informative discussion sessions with internationally renowned architects and designers, as well as lectures and excursions.
