Lyudmila Gurey, who currently works for the Sanoma Independent Media publishing house as both Commercial Director for Cosmopolitan Group publications and Corporate Director for Online Sales of Lifestyle Resources, has been appointed Commercial Director of Digital Publications for SIM.
“Lyudmila Gurey’s appointment will enable our company to strengthen its position on the digital advertising market,” Sanoma Independent Media Commercial Director Nikolas Dadiani said. “As the person responsible for Internet sales for SIM lifestyle resources, Lyudmila gained invaluable experience, connections and knowledge. Now she will be responsible for advertising sales for all of the company’s digital resources,” Dadiani said.
“I see great potential for the development of our digital publications,” Ms. Gurey said. “We already occupy the leading position in this segment, and in the near future we plan to actively develop and put new solutions on the market,” she said.
Lyudmila graduated from the Higher School of Economics with a degree in Company Economics. She began her career with SIM in 2000 as an advertising department assistant, later becoming both Commercial Director for the Cosmopolitan Group publications and Corporate Director for Online Sales of Lifestyle Resources for SIM.
The SIM digital products portfolio includes websites and iPad and iPhone applications for such brands as Cosmopolitan, Domashny Ochag, Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, Men’s Health, Esquire, Popular Mechanics, National Geographic Russia, Harvard Business Review Russia, Vedomosti and others.
