Esquire Magazine Film “Vasily” at Artdocfest 2013
The Yashik (Box) program of the Russian Artdocfest 2013 festival of original documentary films included a showing of the movie Vasily made by director Alexander Khudokon and devoted to a special issue of Esquire magazine featuring the rules of life of ordinary people.
ArtdocFest sets out to give the widest possible exposure to Russia’s best documentary films. The Yashik (Box) program screened the 12 best documentary films made for the 2012-2013 television season from among a field of more than 600 under consideration.
The festival is held at the Khudozhestvenny (Art) movie theater, one of the oldest in the capital, from November 30 to December 9. The film “Vasily” will be shown four times during the festival, on December 2, 4, 5 and 7.
