New appointments in the sales structure of Sanoma Independent Media women’s titles group

The Sanoma Independent Media (SIM) publishing house has announced new appointments in the sales structure of the women's titles group. Irina Filimonova appointed commercial director of Cosmopolitan group, Lyudmila Nikulina appointed Domashny Ochag advertising sales director, while Anna Peres named advertising sales and special projects director for Cosmopolitan Shopping, Cosmopolitan Beauty and Cosmopolitan Psychology magazines.

“I am very pleased to announce the appointment of my colleagues for the strategic positions in the SIM sales structure,” Natalia Vesnina, SIM commercial director, said. “Irina Filimonova, Lyudmila Nikulina and Anna Peres are professionals with huge sales experience and deep knowledge of our products, and enthusiasts in their field. Totally sharing our corporate values, they have been successfully working for the benefit of our company for many years. I am sure that their new ideas, knowledge and experience will strengthen the position of our brands and increase market share of the SIM women's titles group. By the moment we have formed a very strong team that is ready to implement our ambitious plans. First time ever we unite advertising sales for Cosmopolitan Shopping, Cosmopolitan Beauty and Cosmopolitan Psychology magazines under one director’s responsibility area to increase the efficiency of the packet sales. Irina Filimonova has graduated from the Moscow State Linguistic University and started work in the Independent Media publishing house in 1999. In 2000, Irina joined Domashny Ochag team as the advertising department assistant, and then was promoted for advertising sales manager position. From 2006 up to the present she has been holding the position of Domashny Ochag advertising sales director.

“I am happy to lead the sales department of Cosmopolitan Russia group and become a part of this friendly team. I am honored to apply my experience and knowledge to the women's glossy magazine No. 1 on the Russian market. I’m sure that in collaboration with colleagues we can increase the success of Cosmo and assign it as the absolute leader," Irina Filimonova said.

Lyudmila Nikulina has graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University of Fine Chemical Technologies in microbiology and the Russian State University for the Humanities in world economy. From 1999 to 2004 Ludmila has been the senior manager in the commercial department in "Delovoy Oborot 2000". From 2004 to 2006, she has been working for Mosmart as the leading manager of the purchasing department. She joined SIM in 2006 and until now has been holding the position of the sales advertising director for Cosmopolitan Psychology.

Anna Peres has graduated from Kurgan State University. She joined the SIM team in 2003, and within three years he has been holding the position of Cosmopolitan advertising sales manager. From 2006 up to the present Anna has been working as advertising sales director of the youth magazine Yes!. Anna Peres has sixteen-year experience on the advertising sales market, which includes her work for Shape, Natural Health, NME, Up-Grade, She, XXL and TV Parade.

“I love my job for the drive it gives, for creativity and the result. I consider selling advertisement to be absolutely creative work, equal to the art of an actor. And a successful sale happens due to the love for this art form,” Anna Peres says. “I'm glad to get back to the Cosmopolitan creative team and become its member in a new quality. I have a lot of new interesting ideas, and I’m confident that their implementation together with the team of associates will allow to enhance and expand the positions of the magazine on the advertising market."
