Independent Media Hosts Hearst Top Manager at NRF
Independent Media publishing house welcomed Hearst Global digital director Gianluca Ena as a speaker at the National Advertising Forum. Mr. Ena took part in the panel on “Global Trends in the Development of the Advertising Industry” that was held on October 31.
A group of international speakers discussed global trends and prospects for the development of interactive advertising. Panel participants also included Jamie Jouning of Vogue, published by Condé Nast International, and Greg Mroczkowski of IAB Europe. ADB Advertising group president Dmitry Korbkov served as the panel’s moderator.
The experts discussed creative approaches in the digital environment and noted that users value freedom on the Internet and free online services, and also talked about the development of new standards for online advertising that can reflect consumer preferences.
Mr. Ena explained how Hearst implements its digital concepts even as the media undergoes constant changes. “We create desire,” he said. “We're combining our clients beautiful products with our ability to connect with the right audience. In the digital world, where not every environment is premium for brands, we provide a safe place for stories that resonate with our audiences thanks to the brand authority that our titles bring.”
The panel discussion marked the conclusion of the main program of the first day of the forum that brought together approximately 2,000 media market professionals.
