The Women’s Power project launched on the AdIndex industry portal with support from Cosmopolitan. The project is devoted to women — advertising professionals in what was traditionally considered a male industry. Cosmopolitan joined forces with AdIndex to show just how important the role of women is in modern Russia.
On the pages of the project’s publication, readers will find conversations and interviews with women who shared their personal stories of success and failure, who talk about their personal boundaries, inner balance, motivation, and reactions to negative encounters.
AdIndex introduced a special ‘Conversations’ column as part of the project. The participants — 24 female top managers in the advertising, marketing, and media industry — answered nine questions and explained their guiding principles in business, whether there are exclusively male or female qualities for those who work in advertising, and how to respond to controversial debates in society.
The Women’s Power project is one stage of cooperation between Cosmopolitan and AdIndex that seeks to recognize the merits and achievements of Russian women. This year for the first time, Cosmopolitan will present the Strength is in the Woman award that recognizes women whose achievements and experience are changing the country and society. The award is presented in 10 categories encompassing every sphere of life — from science and art to fashion and sports. The AdIndex portal is partnering the business category award.
