Archeological Expedition To Luxor
The Center of Egyptology Research of the Russian Academy of Science together with National Geographic Russia is recruiting volunteers to work for the Russian Archeological Mission in Luxor. The goal of the expedition is clearing and studying the Cadmean tomb of Chai, who was the "minister of foreign affairs" of the pharaoh Merneptah (XIII century B.C.).
The participants will have an opportunity to touch the ancient world both literally and metaphorically and contribute to the preservation of ancient Egyptian heritage. And, of course, they will have a unique chance to learn everything about the ancient masterpieces of Luxor from qualified Egyptologists.
The expedition is planned to begin on December 15, 2008 and finish on 31, January 2009.
