The first conference of this series was titled "HR-2008. Personnel Management: Craving for Professionals". The main topic was structural changes of HR services facing shortage of personnel in the condition of fast business growth.

More than 100 representatives of southern Russian companies came to the conference. There were representatives from Vyshaya Liga, Donskoy Tabak, Renaissance Insurance, plant Konord, Russian Railways, World Class, Atlantis-Pak, Bizon Yug, Gedon, Evrodon, Ekolas, and also many managers from HR agencies.

Approximately 20 specialists and HR directors from Rostov, Krasnodar and Stavropol companies (Rostvertol, Vympelkom, Stavropolsky Broiler, Kargill Yug, AAA, Vash Sivetnik, Rosgosstrakh-Yug and others) made their reports.
