Vedomosti at MIPIM-2008
The newspaper Vedomosty held the "Russia: Investment Course" conference March 11 as part of the 19th international real estate exhibition MIPIM.
Vedomosti is participating in MIPIM for the fourth time. This year the conference was dedicated to Russian integration into the international community. Other issues were the Russian real estate market, which is becoming more and more attractive for investors, and investment risk management. The participants received an overview of the most successful projects with Russian and international investments.
Elvira Nabibullina, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, made a speech at the conference. She presented the ratings of investment prospects of Russian regions and talked about some legislative measures for investment market enhancement. Cameron Sawyer from GVA Sawyer, Veniamin Golubitsky from RenovaStroyGrup, Erick van Egeraat from Erick van Egeraat Associated Architects and Alexander Gusarov from Obyedinennaya Promyshlennaya Korporatsiya also shared their experience.
The participants showed great interest in discussing the largest investment projects involving international and Russian capital. In total, more than 250 top managers from Russian, Western Europe, Baltic countries and USA attended the event.
