Best Life Welcomes World Freeride Stars

This year, Russia's top mountain ski resort, Krasnaya Polyana, will for the second time host stars of world freeride - freestyle skiing on downhill skis and snowboards on raw, unprepared slopes. The best athletes will gather here from January 20 to 25 to compete for the title of champion in the Nissan Russian Adventure - the opening stage of the World Freeride Tour 2009.

Best Life magazine - the informational partner to the championship tour - prepared a unique gift for the athletes and for anyone who would like to get acquainted with them in an informal setting. A Best Life Party will be held on January 24 in one of the most famous clubs in Sochi - the Cayman entertainment center.

Performing at the event will be members of Low Budget Family - DJ Loser (Denis Simachev) and DJ Sestra (Maria Pirumova) - as well as DJ Gorman from Da Boogie Crew. Famous television and radio host Vasily Kovalev will emcee the awards ceremony, and all guests will be able to watch the best ski and snowboard descents played back on a big screen.

After Krasnaya Polyana, the World Freeride Tour will move to other leading mountain ski resorts of the world: Squaw Valley (USA), Saint Etienne de Tinne (France) and Verbier (Switzerland).
