National Geographic Russia and National Geographic Traveler magazines served as informational partners to the 17th Moscow International Travel and Tourism (MITT) Exhibition held from March 18 to 21 at the Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya.
This year’s MITT brought together 3,000 registered participants. More than 100,000 people visited the exhibition, including travel industry professionals and travel lovers. The MITT event included conferences on travel industry-related topics, seminars and consultations.
The National Geographic display, on hand throughout the event, traditionally attracts large numbers of visitors. Guests to the display could peruse and buy the latest issues of NG Russia and NG Traveler, as well as have themselves photographed against an oversized National Geographic cover. The magazine offered visitors complementary cups of coffee brewed in a coffee maker made by the renowned Italian company De Longhi, partner to National Geographic for the event.
