The RB.ru business network, together with the Social Lab company and Personnel Management magazine have launched the “HR Against the Crisis” contest. The competition is dedicated to unique human resources solutions implemented during the crisis.
During difficult times, human resource management departments are practically the first to be tested for strength. Are there any alternatives to the obvious approach of simply cutting staff? It turns out that there are. Those companies that managed to find non-standard solutions did more than simply maintain their positions – they increased their market share. It is precisely these companies that RB.ru is inviting to take part in the “HR Against the Crisis” contest of anti-crisis solutions.
The contest involves individual cases submitted in text format. Each case gives a detailed description of the human resources problem, the solution found and the results following its implementation. All cases must be submitted for consideration by July 6, 2009.
The winner will be determined by readers’ votes and a panel of experts. The author of the best HR solution will win valuable and useful prizes from both the organizers and the contest partners, including Alpine Business Books publishers, Renaissance Insurance Group, Pynes Group and the FOK Consulting company.
RB.ru keeps its finger on the pulse of the career market and knows how difficult it can be for employers and employees during a crisis. Now is the best time to unite and share the ways we have found to overcome the crisis. A seminar reporting the results of the “HR Against the Crisis” project will be held in early August.
