New Lesson from Wedding School
The latest Wedding School class was devoted to creative ways to organize a wedding. The new five-star Lotte Hotel of Moscow welcomed the guests, and the speakers shared their secrets for preparing the most important of all holidays.
The guests were in for a surprise from the moment they entered the lobby where they were met by a bridal veil made of rose petals and a workshop in floral arrangements. Everyone was welcome to take part in the filming of a short video that was edited by the end of the class and shown on a large screen. Romantic sounds of a saxophone and complimentary champagne created an atmosphere of pleasant anticipation for the big event.
Wedding magazine Editor-in-Chief Natalia Kulikova welcomed guests and introduced the participants. Staff members from the “I Agree!” wedding salon talked about the most unusual and outstanding wedding ceremonies in their experience. The highlight of the evening was a fashion show of wedding dresses staged by the Ceremony boutique. Models demonstrated the latest trends in wedding fashions.
Yelena Dmitrieva, expert lawyer and host of the Family Matters program on the Home channel told listeners about the intricacies of drawing up a marriage contract. Chief editor of Interesting TV Liliana Grebneva spoke about wedding videos and choosing the right filmmaker, giving practical advice for newlyweds. Psychologist and coach Karina Basharova eloquently explained how to avoid becoming a hostage to wedding myths. All of the workshops were interspersed with a full show program.
In keeping with Wedding School tradition, the magazine’s business partners held a raffle for the guests. The VIP Bouquet company presented a certificate good for a wedding bouquet and the Lotte Hotel gave out a complimentary dinner at a new Japanese restaurant, a Balinese massage for two at the Mandara Spa and a certificate providing hotel accommodation for two.
After the main part of the event, guests moved to an open discussion area where they could meet and talk with the speakers, receive advice and tour the Lotte Hotel to see the newlywed rooms and the Mandara Spa. The celebration ended with a buffet and a delicious wedding cake from the Lotte Hotel confectioners.
