Several thousand spectators gathered at the Arena Moscow Club on October 13 to watch the fireworks devoted to the finals of the Yes! magazine Face of the Year – 2010 project. Eleven beautiful finalists appeared onstage. They had made it to that day by passing through an entire year of competitive voting on the website
During the breaks between the competition and performances, master of ceremonies Alexei Vorobyov and Face of the Year – 2002 finalist Yuliana Karaulova entertained guests with their witty repartee.
The brightest stars of show business were on hand to congratulate the participants, including Ivanushki International, Lera Lera, 23:45, Nyusha, 5ivesta, Sati Casanova, Paulina Gagarina, Korni, Vlad Sokolovsky, Karina Koks, In-Yan, Dmitry Bikbayev, Infinity and many others. Also present were such special guests as producer Igor Matvienko, the hosts of the U Brigade program on Europa Plus, actors from the TV series Dayosh Molodyozh! (Oh, You Youth!) and Univer. And DJ Fenix at the music console created the party atmosphere.
The main prize – a photo shoot for the cover of Yes! magazine – went to Yulia Demenkova of Chelyabinsk who won over the jury with her charm and spontaneity. All finalists were given awards in separate categories and received gifts from event sponsors, including a Nivea Visage Young cosmetics basket, fun sweets from Booly&Boom, stylish accessories from Kawaii Factory, beauty surprises from Vivalavit, gift certificates from Centro show stores, exclusive toys from Expetro, useful household appliances from Maxwell, gift certificates to the Freshmania beauty boutique, Jabra mobile phone headsets, memorable impressions from DarBeri, the Scrabble board game, gift certificates good for Demoiselle Dore undergarments, the Accessorize bag and much more.
The evening’s guests felt like real stars as they walked down the red carpet, sat behind the wheel of a stylish Mini Cooper and participated in a specially organized Nivea photo laboratory. Guests invited to the VIP zone were treated to champagne and chocolate treats from the Korkunov handmade chocolates boutique at Lubyanka.
