Today, advertisers are primarily focused on the rapid development of social networks, the growth of digital communication, the emergence of new communication formats and new patterns of consumption. The multimillion-strong Internet audience is developing new forms of communication and the largest brands are entering the Web along with their customers.
The forum examined case studies of such leading global brands as Coca-Cola, Dell, Unilever, Nokia, Samsung, Volvo, MTS, RedBull, MegaFon, Microsoft and Panasonic. The best digital media-based campaigns were also presented. Speakers included the directors of the leading social networks VKontakte, Facebook and Classmates. The panel discussion on the effectiveness of online companies and the place of digital ads in the traditional marketing mix was joined by the directors of such leading agencies as IMHO VI, BBDO, Mindshare Interaction and Adwatch. In addition, forum participants could view a special screening of the David Fincher film Social Network about Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
