The Moscow Times has released a new supplement titled "Russia-France." The publication is a joint project of the newspaper and the French Chamber of Commerce. This is the second edition covering cooperation between the two countries, and is dedicated this year to investment by French companies in the Russian regions.
The central spread features an informative map showing the locations of French companies doing business in the Russian regions and includes reviews of major industries and economic indicators. Journalists provide an overview of French investments in the Russian automotive industry, describe the cosmetics business in the Kaluga region using L’Oreal as an example, examine the agricultural sector in the Southern Federal District and look at building materials manufacturers in the Nizhny Novgorod region. French companies also tell of their rich experience doing business in the Northwestern and Urals regions as well as in Tatarstan. The publication includes a list of all French companies operating in Russia.
The publication is timed to coincide with the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and will be distributed in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian regions.
