On Feb. 1, the Vedomosti newspaper launched its “Our Best Article” integrated advertising campaign. The new campaign is dedicated to Article 29 of the Russian Constitution that guarantees freedom of the press and prohibits censorship. It is, indeed, “our best article.”
The timely and important message can be seen in outdoor advertising, in printed media and on light boxes in business centers. On the radio, listeners will hear Vladimir Posner, Alexei Navalny, Olga Shelest and other public figures offer their support for Vedomosti's message. The special issue of the newspaper is packaged in a striking “Our Best Article” dust cover and will be available from promoters near business centers and on stands found in Moscow hotels and restaurants.
More than 100 influential journalists, public figures and bloggers have already received complimentary “Our Best Article” T-shirts as part of the advertising campaign, and now they can visibly demonstrate their support for Article 29 of the Constitution.
