National Geographic Russia on World Wars
The sixth volume in the “1,000 Events that Changed the World” series from National Geographic magazine was released for sale on March 20. “World Wars” is devoted to events between 1914 and 1945.
That period was marked by numerous wars that claimed the lives of tens of millions of people and left a bloody mark on world history. The First World War, the Great Depression, the Russian Revolution and the seizure of power by the Bolshevik Party, the establishment of Benito Mussolini’s fascist regime in Italy, the struggle for power in China, Hitler’s rise to power, the Sino-Japanese war — all these and more can be found in the pages of the new “World Wars” release from the historical series “1,000 Events that Changed the World.”
