Vedomosti Conducts Advertising Campaign

Outdoor ads for the Vedomosti daily business newspaper began appearing in Moscow on January 14. The campaign — “Oligarchs don’t make a move until they’ve read Vedomosti” — accompanies the release of the newspaper in a new and compact A3 format.

Billboard ads display one of three slogans: “Oligarchs don’t make a move until they’ve read Vedomosti,” “Businesspeople don’t make a move until they’ve read Vedomosti” and “Government ministers don’t make a move until they’ve read Vedomosti.” More than 400 outdoor advertising venues are involved in the campaign. The ads will remain in place until February 16.

The advertisements were developed by IQ Marketing, a Russian agency that took the Promo Lions honors at the Cannes Lion advertising awards in 2006.
