The Moscow Times newspaper served as a partner to the 12th Baltic PR Weekend conference held in St. Petersburg on September 13-14.
At the Made in Russia conference session, Moscow Times Marketing Director Yekaterina Norkina spoke along with Marketing and Communications directors from AvtoVAZ, Yandex, Ogilvy and FC Zenit about the future of Russian brands. Ms. Norkina explained how the media helps to promote a city’s brand, citing the example of The Moscow Times and the role it has played in creating the Moscow brand. In particular, she mentioned the Moscow Times Awards in which the newspaper’s readers and journalists from the international media formally recognize the contribution Moscow has made to the fields of business and culture.
The print version of The Moscow Times was also distributed to participants of The Baltic PR Weekend.
