Wedding magazine held a degustation of wedding cakes on November 18 as part of the 2014 Wedding Awards. Members of the jury – wedding industry professionals, Wedding magazine editors and guest experts – gathered at the Turandot restaurant to decide the winner for Best Wedding Cake.
For the jury’s consideration, contestants presented a total of 14 cakes – each more beautiful than the last. Jury members took part in a blind tasting of each cake and evaluated their design and decoration.
Everyone involved said that some of the cakes were truly inspiring in their originality and that others were unusually flavorful. Some were nothing short confectionary masterpieces, once again proving that true classics never go out of fashion.
The winner of the 2014 Wedding Award for Best Wedding Cake will be announced soon.
