Men’s Health Reaches the Stratosphere

Men’s Health continues to live according to the motto: “Always setting new records!” by launching the magazine’s January issue into the stratosphere on January 30.

A probe carrying the Men’s Health cover was launched in Vsevolozhsk in the Leningrad Region, and returned to Earth near Bolshoi Vishera in the Novgorod Region after accomplishing a flight of approximately 143 kilometers, a peak altitude of 27,743 meters and an onboard temperature of minus 43 degrees Celsius.

The flight took approximately three hours, including two hours for the balloon’s ascent and one hour for its descent. The launch was part of the Random Race adventure competition.

The magazine plans to break another record by reaching the bottom of the ocean.
