New Year Charitable Project
Independent Media Sanoma Magazines has donated the budget, devoted to New Year gifts for clients and partners, towards seriously ill children.
New Year is a wonderful celebration focused on sharing and helping less fortunate among us. On New Year eve, when people traditionally exchange novelties and best wishes, Independent Media Sanoma Magazines has made an invaluable gift – life. 5,063,116.70 rubles from the budget devoted to New Year gifts for clients and partners were spent on heart surgeries for 39 children from different Russian towns.
In December, clients and partners of Independent Media Sanoma Magazines will recieve booklets containing the project's description, children's photos and short stories.
Independent Media Sanoma Magazines would like to thank its clients and partners for effective co-operation in 2006 which allowed to realize this project.
The project was held in partnership with Life Line, Russian charitable program for recovery of seriously ill children. Since June 2004, Life Line has saved about 1,000 children from different regions.
