The Hermitage Excursion

In the late November, the St. Petersburg office of Independent Media Sanoma Magazines has released the renewed version of the Hermitage glossy magazine, the joint venture of Independent Media and State Hermitage. The new magazine, devoted to cultural life and the world of art, will contain interviews with well-known workers of culture, exhibitions and art books surveys, auctions news, critical reviews and topical articles.

The Hermitage magazine target audience covers high readership interested in art, including collectors, galleries or antiquarian salons' owners. The publishers plan to attract not only those companies, which deal with culture and art, but also the nationwide advertisers.

The Hermitage magazine will be published quarterly, total circulation 20,000 copies: 5,000 in English and 15,000 in Russian. The English part will be distributed abroad, first of all in the USA, Canada, Great Britain, and Netherlands - those countries which hold the Clubs of Hermitage Friends. The rest 15,000 will be distributed through retail and sent to the galleries' owners, workers of culture and politicians, corporate and individual members of the Club of Hermitage Friends. The magazine will also be sold in business centers, hotels, at tematical exhibitions and salons.
