A New Project: Organing Gardening Magazine

In October, Independent Media obtained the publishing license for "New Gardener and Farmer" (Novy Sadovod I Fermer), the analog of Organic Gardening magazine. In America the publication was founded by J. I. Rodale in 1942 in order to teach people how to grow better food by cultivating a healthier soil using natural techniques.
In 1991, J. I. Rodale's son and successor Robert Rodale together with his Russian partner Eugene Gringaut initiated the appearance of "New Farmer" magazine (later – "New Gardener and Farmer"). Within 15 years the editorial team, headed by George Dewalt, has been conveying those ideas of organic gardening to which Bob Rodale has devoted his entire life.
The move to Independent Media will certainly be good for "New Gardener and Farmer": the theme of organic gardening and healthy lifestyle will be broadened, and there will be more articles from Organic Gardening magazine. The publication will become a glossy, the distribution will improve, and the volume, frequency and circulation will increase.
The magazine's main sections:
Plant cultivation: all about soil, seeds, and sprouts; selection news; flowers, garden design.
Cattle breeding: healthy domestic animals and fowl.
Marketing: how to organize a garden center or a farmer shop and sell the products.
In addition: harvest processing and storing, lots of useful advice for your home and garden.
