In November, Popular Mechanics opens its "Made in Russia" special section. The editorial will tell its readers about things which are made in Russia and worthy being proud of.
PM editors have chosen three great achievements made by Russia in space, aviation and ballet. The topics are very specific: manned expeditions to Mars, ejection seats, and the technical elements of classical Russian ballet.
The "Made in Russia" project covers 19 pages of the November issue and will be continued in December. The editorial plans to write articles on the unique system of hanging cameras, plasma engines for satellites, atomic ice-breakers, and figure skating mechanics.
