Prizes for the Champions
Independent Media has supported the Russian Paralympic Dressage Championship, which was organized by the Federal Agency for Physical Culture and Sports and held at the Moscow Riding Club for the Disabled in Khimki over the weekend of July 1-3.
The championship is held annually according to the rules of the Paralympic program among people with locomotor apparatus and vision disabilities aged over 10. This year the competitors came from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Irkutsk, Yaroslavl, Yekaterinburg, Moscow and Sverdlovsk regions.
Independent Media has financed the production of medals and cups received by the winning team from Moscow. In addition, the finalists were presented with prizes from Cosmopolitan, Yes! and Popular Mechanics.
The special prize from Independent Media - a travel certificate, was given to Natalia Zhavoronkova, the double gold medalist of the championship.
