They Need Your Help
On May 11, a charitable program of private donations called "Im Nuzhna Vasha Pomoshch" (They Need Your Help) started in Independent Media.
From now on, the employees of IM's Moscow office can send their donations for supporting charitable organizations and take part in their work as volunteers. This year the list of participants consists of the Moscow Horse Club for Disabled Persons, the family children's home "Phoenix", "A Good Deed" - a relief fund for the elderly, the Human Programs Center, and a shelter for domestic animals called "True Friends."
The employees chose the charities by filling in a special questionnaire. The organizations were offered and approved by the Program Council, which includes representatives of Independent Media and the Charities Aid Foundation, the program’s administrator.
