Cosmopolitan Set New Record
Cosmopolitan's New Year SMS contest has become one of Russia's most successful interactive media projects. The magazine has received about 1 000 000 messages and the number of contest participants reached over 200 000 people.
The contest announced in the December issue of the magazine lasted from November 16 till December 25. Its participants had to answer 1000 questions and get the highest score in the shortest possible time. The contest's organizers were rating all the results, and each participant had permanent access to personal statistics. Prizes will be awarded to 52 top scorers.
The winner of the main prize - an Opel Corsa, will be chosen on December 26.
The contest's full results will be published in Cosmopolitan in April.
