Students Solved a Traffic Problem

Independent Media's representatives took part in a business game held by Vladimir Potanin's Charity Fund for its grant holders - the best students of Russia's universities and colleges.

The players had to prepare a business project "Moscow - city of the future". IM experts' task was to advise on the projects and to appraise the results.

The winning project named "Shtopor" ("Corkscrew") introduced a transport construction complex that included an underground transport system and a traffic control service. Its authors offered their own solution for Moscow's traffic jams problem.

All the game participants got a "Career Handbook" as a present, three students were awarded also with a special Vedomosti prize: they got a free subscription to the newspaper.
