Meet New Telephone

Publishing houses SPN and Independent Media present a joint project - the revamped magazine Telephone.
SPN has been publishing Telephone since 2001, and up till now it has been a catalogue of mobile services: logos, ringtones and games for mobile phones. IM has brought another, informational and entertaining part to the project: news on pop and rock bands, interviews with celebrities, etc.
The magazine's appearance has also been changed. The revamped Telephone is published in a popular mini-format and with a fashionable design.
The publishing houses' functions are separated in the project: SPN provides technical support for mobile services, IM is responsible for the magazine's content. The editorial part and catalogue are printed on different kinds of paper.
The magazine is led by two managing editors: Sergey Efremov (SPN) and Irina Iliyna (IM, Yes! editor-in-chief). Yes! editorial team works on Telephone's content.
It's expected that the changes will make the magazine more attractive to its target audience - 16-24-year-old men.
Telephone will come out monthly with a circulation of 200,000 copies. It will be distributed in large cities in Russia and Ukraine.
An advertising campaign of the revamped magazine will last from the 1st till the 31st of December. Billboards are placed in 20 metro stations near Moscow's main universities and high schools. A two-week campaign will be held on Muz-TV, MTV, TNT, and on Moscow and St.Petersubrug radio stations Dynamite FM, Energy, Hit FM, Popsa, Sputnik, Europe Plus, Maximum.
Telephone has also become a media sponsor of Zveri's gig that will be held at the Olympiyski hall on December 11.
