In September the first Russian issue of Harvard Business Review comes out, which is the famous magazine for top-managers and company owners.
On this occasion, the editor-in-chief of American HBR Thomas Stewart visited Moscow on 8-12th September.
Harvard Business Review - Russia reviews the world and Russian experience in management and analyses ideas and strategic solutions for all kinds of business.
The first issue contains material from the original version of the magazine and articles written by Russian experts. Besides that, a joint opinion poll is held by HBR-Russia and Internet-magazine E-xecutive. The main question of the poll is "Whom do you consider to be a guru of modern business?". The poll results will be published at www.e-xecutive.ru and taken into account when the content of the next issues of the magazine will be organized.
The magazine already has more than 1000 subscribers. Preliminary orders from retail chains number 6,000. The remaining part of the 15,000-copy circulation will be distributed by direct mail.
The first issue is supported by an advertising campaign on the Internet and in a number of newspapers and magazines: RBC.ru, E-xecutive.ru, MBA Consult, Ozon.ru, The Moscow Times, Vedomosti, Expert, etc. A web-site at www.hbr-russia.ru has also been launched.
