Cosmopolitan Brocard Model 2003
Cosmopolitan Ukraine, together with Brocard Parfums, held a competition "Cosmopolitan Brocard Model 2003". The final contest took place in Kiev. This competition gives a serious chance to young girls dreaming of a model career - the winner will be presented to the leading model agencies in Berlin and Milan, and she also will be awarded by a trip to the famous Berlin festival "Love Parade".
Cosmo Ukraine received a lot of letters with requests for participation from different Ukrainian cities. 20 girls took part in the final contest. The girls were not only beautiful, but they were also very talented - some of them sing, some dance, paint, etc. Almost all the contestants speak English. The majority study at Ukrainian universities.
Valery Sutkin was the brilliant master of the ceremony. The jury consisted of Svetlana Ostrovskaya, editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Ukraine, Elena Myasnikova, direcor of Independent Media, David Tetruashvili, president of Brocard Parfums, Anni Lorak, singer, Alexander Morderer, photographer, Oleg Pinchuk, sculptor, Alexander Volkov, Olympic basketball champion, Timur Dorofeev, editor-in-chief of FHM Ukraine, Victoria Gres, designer.
20-year-old Ksenia Riabchuk from Sevastopol received the main award. All finalists got make-up and perfume kits from Brocard Parfums. There were prizes from other sponsors as well. Special prizes from Cosmo - picture on its pages - were given to Tatiana Borisenko from Kiev, who will appear on the Fashion pages, and to Alina Tchevela from Slaviansk, who will become a model for beauty pages.
