New appointment

Independent Media announced important changes in personnel. Yugenia Yakushina is the publisher of the 'Orange' project, a new consumer magazine that we will publish in cooperation with leading companies as Nestle and Unilever. Furthermore Zhenya is appointed to the Board of Press Expo, our new distribution joint venture with Burda.

Tanyana Shaligina will succeed Zhenya as IM's Distribution Director as of April 1. Tanya is already running the distribution department for some months now, and she's doing a great job.

Igor Shein has been appointed Creative Director of Independent Media. Igor will concentrate on a brand new title. Igor will also - on request - work with magazines on their art direction and coach young new designers.
