Awards from Independent Media
At the awards ceremony, general media sponsor Independent Media presented special prizes in seven categories from the publishing house. The Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Grazia, Robb Report, Domashny Ochag and Popular Mechanics publications recognized the top laureates in their respective categories.
Robb Report presented the special Legend of the Cinema prize to Sergey Shakurov; the award For One of Russia’s Most Systematic and Most Professional Conversions of Film Popularity into a Major Social Event was presented by Domashny Ochag to Konstantin Khabensky; Popular Mechanics recognized Daniil Spivakovsky for Best Film Portrayal of a Scientist; Alena Mikhailova received a statuette from Grazia for Best Role in a TV Series; Esquire awarded Alexander Bortich for Deeds and Intentions; Irina Gorbacheva was honored by Cosmopolitan for Personifying a Strong Woman; and Harper’s Bazaar awarded Anna Chistova for Faithfulness to Trends.
