The first fashion show in the unique Cosmopolitan — Fashion without Borders project was held on December 8. The event was held in Ufa as part of the International Business Week. It was the first stage in a large-scale regional project, the first venue of which was the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The main purpose of the show was to demonstrate the results of the collaboration between the national culture of Bashkortostan and world fashion trends – a synergy of history, inspiration and opportunities. Famed producer Artem Krivda helped organize the show.
This show marked the launch of the large-scale Cosmopolitan – Fashion without Borders project that focuses attention on light industry and the favorable industrial climate in Russia’s regions, overcome the isolation of the fashion industry there, establish a community of designers and support local small and medium-size businesses.
The Cosmopolitan – Fashion without Borders project is designed to find talented locals and establish contacts between them and state enterprises in need of a new look and creative approach.
