Cosmopolitan Helps Women become Financially Independent

Cosmopolitan acted as the main media partner to the annual Mama Entrepreneur educational program held in more than 60 Russian regions. Cosmopolitan Managing Director Maria Kolmakova served on the jury and analyzed participants’ business ideas, giving advice to each on how to develop their business. The project’s mission aligns with Cosmopolitan’s basic values of fighting for women’s rights and their financial and social independence. 

Mama Entrepreneur is a federal educational program for the development of women’s entrepreneurship. As part of the program, mothers across Russia learn business basics for free in order to start their own businesses and become financially independent.
