Domashny Ochag in Rhone-Alpes Region Festival of Flavor

Domashny Ochag magazine is providing media support for the Rhone-Alpes Region’s Sixth Festival of Flavor held from March 3 through April 3 and organized by the Atout France agency for development of tourism in France and the tourism committee of the Rhone-Alpes region.

The 2014 Rhones-Alpes Region Festival of Flavor features special menus in 20 Moscow restaurants and cafés, welcome cocktails from the chefs, fireworks, exciting gastronomic events, workshops, taste testing and evenings filled with music and movies. This year’s festival is devoted to the very first Winter Olympics, held 90 years ago in 1924 in Chamonix. Participating restaurants hunted up the recipes from that period and prepared dishes traditional for that region — the same ones on which the first Winter Olympians dined.

The highpoint of the festival program was a theatrical and gastronomic skit featuring the famous film and theater actor Odin Biron. Laurent Petit — maestro of elite gastronomy, culinary artist extraordinaire and winner of two Michelin stars for the Le Clos des Sens restaurant in Annecy-le-Vieux— was also on hand as a special guest.

The Domashny Ochag logo was displayed on all POS materials, on the 1,500 copies of the special menu distributed among the 20 participating restaurants, the festival’s website, advertising layouts in popular publications and on a range of Internet sites.

More information about the festival is available on the site www.goodhouse.ru.
