Domashny Ochag: Candid Talk about Violence against Women
Domashny Ochag teamed up with the Odnoklassniki (Classmates.com) social network and the Nasiliyu.nyet (No Violence) Center to hold a live broadcast timed to the annual International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25.
The discussion featured Anna Rivina, director of the No Violence Center and Doctor of Juridical Science; Irina Shikhman, interviewer and creator of the “Can We Talk?" project and the “A Beating is a Beating" documentary film; and Yulia Menshova, television presenter, actress, and host of Russia’s first talk show for women, “Ya sama" (I Myself). The broadcast was conducted by Domashny Ochag Editor-in-Chief Natalia Rodikova.
