Russia's Media Manager 2005: Our Candidates

IM's top managers are among nominees for the annual national award "Russia's Media Manager 2005."

The "Russia's Media Manager" prize has been awarded yearly since 2001. Today it is the only evidence of professional recognition for the achievements of top Russian managers in the media market. The award was founded by the MediaHouse publishing house and Mass Media News magazine, a professional media business publication.

In 2004, Elena Myasnikova, a member of Independent Media’s Managing Board and Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief, received a prize in the "Magazines" category.

This year the list of nominees in the "Printed Mass Media" category includes:

	Derk Sauer, CEO - for business restructuring and preparation for sale to a foreign investor;
	Tatyana Shishkova, Financial Director - for financial achievements in the company's business processes optimization, the implementation of standardized system of financial accounting and control to further the company's capitalization increase;
	Tatyana Shalygina, Distribution Director - for achievements in distribution to further general circulation;
	Olga Zamukhovskaya, Media Traffic Manager - for the search of optimal price decisions and the increase of special projects in magazines to further the optimization of printing prices.

The names of the winners are to be announced on July 7.
