The Moscow Times: Russia's Image Abroad
On October 26, the Russian Economic Forum, The Moscow Times and RIA Novosti held the Anglo-Russian media roundtable dedicated to Russia's image abroad and in particular in Great Britain.
Its participants discussed the role of Russian companies in the process of the country's image forming, the attitude of British society to Russian businesspeople in the UK, stereotypes in the British media, impact of Russian geo-political trends and Kremlin decisions, and other questions.
Participants were Russian and British journalists: Guy Faulconbridge (The Moscow Times), Arkadiy Ostrovski (The Financial Times), Alexey Venediktov ("Echo Moskvy"), Sergey Brilyov (RTR), Ray Whitaker (Independent on Sunday), David Hearst (The Guardian).
