Yes! Opens Its Own School

Yes! magazine announces a revolution in the educational system by opening its own school. The opening ceremony of the Yes! School – simultaneously a school and club for people of like interests – will take place on January 30 in the building housing Independent Media Sanoma Magazines.

The Yes! School program includes photography and video courses, dance classes, yoga, an introduction to journalism, theater, design, make-up classes, a school for beginning stylists, training sessions, meetings with psychologists, cosmetology, master classes with editors, meetings with celebrities, home concerts, exhibitions and much more. Offering instruction for all the subjects will be an amazing constellation of stars – famous Russian photographers, stylists, image makers, singers, musicians, actors, professional teachers and, of course, members of the Yes! editorial board.

Lessons will be conducted on weekends in informal indoor settings that convey the creative atmosphere of Yes! magazine. Participants will have a chance not only to listen to lectures by specialists and gain new knowledge, but also to make new friends, chat and to pass the time with pleasant company over a cup of tea.

The Yes! School only offers lessons that nobody would ever want to skip.

An advertising campaign in support of the school runs on radio, in the press and on the Internet. A flash mob was also staged at the Yevropeisky shopping center as a special promotional event, and subsequent viral marketing was conducted on the Internet.
