National Geographic Russia at Geek Picnic

National Geographic Russia magazine took part in Geek Picnic, the largest European science, technology and art festival. The event was held in Krasnaya Presnya Park in Moscow on June 13-14.

Geek Picnic is an event that has garnered a cult following among art, technology and science fans, bringing together the most interesting and unusual technological wonders. Russian and international experts took part in the festival that was divided into several different zones: Science, Technology, Art, and Picnic.

National Geographic occupied a booth in the Art zone, where visitors has a chance to take part in a workshop on ebru, the ancient oriental art of painting on water. Guests could also obtain current and back issues of National Geographic Russia and National Geographic Traveler as well as purchase subscriptions to both publications.
